Job Title: Senior Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
A distinguished law firm based in Henderson, NV is seeking a highly experienced litigation attorney to join its dynamic legal team. This role is best suited for a litigator with a deep interest in intellectual property disputes-including patents, trademarks, and copyrights-who is comfortable leading federal litigation and mentoring junior legal talent. The position provides the opportunity to handle complex matters and make a meaningful impact on clients' legal strategies and business outcomes.

Duties:

• Serve as the primary attorney managing assigned litigation matters

• Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced legal team members

• Conduct thorough legal research and evaluate pertinent laws and precedents

• Draft and edit legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and briefs

• Lead case preparation and litigation strategy development

• Review, analyze, and organize case evidence, filings, and documents

• Represent clients at hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials

• Work collaboratively with colleagues on multi-faceted litigation approaches

• Maintain proactive communication with clients and opposing counsel

• Ensure all case documentation is current, comprehensive, and well-organized

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction

• 7-10 years of litigation experience, preferably in federal courts

• Prior exposure to intellectual property litigation preferred

• Demonstrated trial experience is advantageous

• Skilled in legal analysis, issue-spotting, and complex legal writing

• Confident communicator with the ability to manage client expectations

• Self-motivated and able to handle multiple matters independently

• Open to learning IP-specific laws if not already practiced in the area

• Team-oriented mindset with a problem-solving approach

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Bar of at least one U.S. state

• Admission to the Nevada Bar is preferred.

Skills:

• Deep understanding of litigation procedures and court rules

• Familiarity with intellectual property legal frameworks (or strong willingness to learn)

• Ability to manage litigation timelines and coordinate with clients and co-counsel

• Superior legal writing, drafting, and oral advocacy skills

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational practices

• Positive, solutions-focused attitude with a commitment to client service
