Job Overview:
A law firm based in Vero Beach, FL, specializing in a variety of legal services, is seeking an entry-level litigation attorney to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to grow professionally while handling a diverse range of cases, including business disputes, real estate, construction, and intellectual property matters. As an associate, you will be working in a fully remote environment, contributing to a fast-paced and dynamic team.

Duties:

• Draft legal documents such as letters, memos, motions, orders, and pleadings
• Assist lead attorneys in preparing for hearings
• Ensure timely case management and meet all related deadlines
• Collaborate with paralegals and legal support staff on discovery matters
• Conduct comprehensive legal research on various topics
• Maintain organized records and meticulous billing of time
• Demonstrate proactivity and efficiency in a virtual work environment

Requirements:

• 0-5 years of experience as an associate attorney
• Strong academic background, with at least a cum laude graduation or top 25% of class ranking
• Minimum LSAT score of 155
• Exceptional skills in legal research and writing, with high marks in these areas
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Adobe
• Clio experience is a plus
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, remote work environment
• Must have a quiet, distraction-free workspace and reliable internet connection

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active Bar License
