Duties:

• Manage a caseload of first-party property and insurance coverage litigation matters.

• Draft legal pleadings, discovery requests, and motions.

• Take and defend depositions, and represent clients in court appearances.

• Collaborate with team members on legal strategy and case management.

• Assist in trial preparation and provide trial support.

• Maintain high standards in legal research, writing, and case analysis.

Requirements:

• Experience in first-party property, bad faith, and insurance coverage litigation.

• Practical experience in managing cases in both state and federal courts.

• Strong skills in drafting pleadings, motions, and conducting discovery.

• Proven experience in taking and defending depositions.

• Admission to the New York State Bar (additional state admissions a plus).

• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar (required).

• Additional State Bar admissions (preferred).

Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Proficient in legal research tools and software.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
