The role involves representing a diverse client base in business-related disputes and navigating cases from inception through resolution.

Duties:

• Handle commercial litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and legal memoranda

• Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitration, and mediations

• Assist in case strategy development and trial preparation

• Manage caseloads with attention to detail and efficiency

• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel

• Participate in negotiations and settlement discussions

• Conduct legal research and provide case assessments

Requirements:

• 1 to 3 years of civil litigation experience

• Demonstrated ability to manage litigation files independently or with minimal supervision

• Strong analytical and advocacy skills

• Licensed and in good standing with the South Carolina Bar, or eligible for reciprocity

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active South Carolina Bar license (or pending/eligible through reciprocity)

Skills:

• Excellent legal writing and oral communication skills

• Strong organizational and time management abilities

• Proficiency in legal research tools and litigation software
