Duties:

• Analyze and resolve general liability cases efficiently by communicating regularly with claims professionals and documenting communications.
• Prepare pleadings, conduct depositions, and handle motion practice.
• Participate in trial preparation and support trial efforts, if applicable.
• Manage case files and maintain organized records throughout the litigation process.
• Work with claims professionals and clients to help resolve legal matters efficiently.
• Stay up-to-date with developments in general liability law and ensure compliance with legal procedures.
• Provide clients with timely updates regarding case progress and strategy.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in general liability law.
• Proven ability to prepare pleadings, conduct depositions, and handle motion practice.
• Trial experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Active member in good standing with the New York State Bar.
• Ability to handle complex legal issues and provide strategic solutions.

Education:

• JD from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active member of the New York State Bar.

Skills:

• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Proficiency in drafting legal documents, including pleadings and motions.
