Job Overview:

A distinguished law firm in Indianapolis is seeking an experienced Labor and Employment Attorney to join its legal team. This role involves advising clients in both public and private sectors on labor and employment matters, managing litigation, and providing strategic legal counsel.

Duties:

• Represent clients in labor and employment law matters, including litigation and compliance issues.

• Provide legal counsel on workplace policies, employee relations, and risk management.

• Handle complex legal disputes, including discrimination claims, wrongful termination, and wage disputes.

• Conduct legal research and draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents.

• Advise clients on labor laws, employment contracts, and regulatory compliance.

• Negotiate settlements and represent clients in hearings, arbitrations, and trials.

• Stay informed on changes in labor and employment laws to ensure up-to-date legal guidance.

Requirements:

• Proven experience handling labor and employment law cases.

• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple complex projects with precision and efficiency.

• Professional, well-organized, and self-motivated approach to work.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
