A well-established litigation law firm located in Midtown Manhattan is seeking a full-time Associate Attorney to join its growing legal team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on litigation experience in areas such as medical malpractice, nursing home neglect, healthcare disputes, and general negligence. Location:

• New York, NY

Duties:

• Draft pleadings, discovery responses, and motions

• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda

• Defend and conduct depositions

• Make court appearances (virtual and in-person)

• Manage client communications and expectations

• Support trial preparation and assist with settlement efforts

• Collaborate with partners and fellow associates on significant cases

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of legal experience as a licensed attorney (2023 graduates with experience encouraged to apply)

• Experience in personal injury or client management is a plus

• Must demonstrate excellent writing, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed and admitted to practice law in the State of New York (required)

Skills:

• Strong legal research and analytical capabilities

• Competence in handling litigation procedures including depositions and motions
