Duties

• Defend and litigate lawsuits involving employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination.
• Provide legal advice, counsel, and training to employers on employment and labor law matters.
• Represent employers in court, administrative agency proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Handle employment matters, including class/collective actions and cases related to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, contracts, employment torts, and non-compete agreements.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
• Minimum of 3 years of legal experience, preferably with a background in employment law.
• Current admission to the Florida Bar or eligibility for admission.
• Knowledge of federal and state agency procedures.
• Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Certifications

• Active membership in the Florida Bar or ability to gain admission promptly.
