A law firm seeks a Restructuring Associate to join its Insolvency & Restructuring practice in New York. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in restructuring, representing various parties in Chapter 11 proceedings and out-of-court restructurings, including cross-border matters.

Duties

• Represent debtors, committees, creditors, and asset purchasers in restructuring matters.
• Engage in deposition and trial preparation.
• Collaborate with attorneys across the firm on various projects.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of restructuring experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Exceptional research, analytical, and writing abilities.
• Ability to work as part of a high-performing, collaborative team.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York Bar, active and in good standing.

Skills

• Experience with Chapter 11 proceedings and out-of-court restructurings.
• Deposition and trial preparation experience is a plus.
