A law firm seeks a highly motivated Business Litigation Counsel in the Denver, CO area capable of handling the defense of insurance clients in federal and state court litigation.

Duties

• Work collaboratively as part of a team on related cases under the supervision of experienced partners.
• Independently handle court appearances and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Take and defend depositions, and retain and work with experts.
• Attend mediations and perform related legal tasks.
• Demonstrate strong persuasive writing and oral advocacy skills.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of litigation experience in the defense of first-party commercial and residential property insurance claims.
• Admitted to the Colorado bar or eligible for admission.
• Reside in the Denver metropolitan area.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Colorado.
