Duties

• Manage complex litigation matters from intake through trial, settlement, or appeal.
• Draft and argue motions, including dispositive and substantive motion practice.
• Handle discovery, depositions, court appearances, arbitrations, and hearings.
• Prepare cases for trial and assist with trial strategy and execution.
• Participate in settlement negotiations and mediations.
• Collaborate closely with partners, associates, and paralegals.
• Provide strategic guidance and updates to clients.
• Leverage technology and AI tools for research, drafting, and case management.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience.
• Experience in commercial litigation, employment, or discrimination matters preferred.
• Admitted to practice in New York; admission in New Jersey or Connecticut is a plus.
• Strong legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to independently manage complex matters with deadline control.
• Highly organized, proactive, and responsive communicator.
• Comfortable working full-time, in-office.
• Interest in long-term growth and a partner-track trajectory.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in New York.
