Duties

• Appear in court and negotiate to secure favorable outcomes for clients.
• Develop case strategies and guide paralegals and legal assistants.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memos on complex issues.
• Oversee marital asset division and negotiate divorce settlements.
• Maintain organized client files and ensure documentation accuracy.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years in family law litigation and courtroom advocacy.
• Licensed to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong strategic problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Compassionate and resilient advocate with a client-focused approach.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Education

• 4-year degree with a legal background.
• J.D. degree required.

Certifications

• Active member of the American Bar Association.
