Duties

• Represent employers or insurers at various legal proceedings.

• Compile and submit management-required reports.
• Coordinate and attend claims reviews and negotiate settlements.

Requirements

• J.D. and licensed in Kansas or Missouri required.
• Experience in workers' compensation defense; general litigation experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in legal research techniques and terminology.
• Experience with Microsoft Word; Time Matters software preferred.
• Maintain firm and client confidentiality.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Kansas or Missouri.
