Job Overview

A law firm seeks an entry-level associate attorney to join its team in Roseville, California. The ideal candidate will have 6 months to 3 years of litigation experience and a passion for consumer protection. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with partners and senior attorneys, gaining experience in various phases of litigation, including discovery, motions, and trial preparation.

Duties

• Draft and review written discovery and responses.
• Participate in e-discovery document reviews.
• Prepare and draft motions related to discovery disputes.
• Attend and participate in oral arguments and depositions.
• Assist with vehicle inspections alongside expert witnesses.
• Manage timely reporting and billing of hours worked.
• Support trial preparation and other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Member in good standing of the California Bar.
• At least 6 months of experience as a California licensed attorney.
• Interest in consumer protection and advocacy.
• Collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred, but not required.

Education

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• California Bar membership.

• Proficient in MS Office, Westlaw, and Outlook.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and deadline management.
