Duties

  • Represent clients in community law matters, including litigation and transactional work.
  • Participate in case preparation, legal research, and client consultations.
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys and support staff to develop and implement effective legal strategies.
  • Manage a caseload with a focus on achieving clients’ desired outcomes while balancing the firm’s goals.
  • Engage in creative thinking to differentiate the firm in a competitive market while maintaining a client-centric approach.
  • Handle billable hours efficiently, with annual targets between 1400-1500 hours.
  • Contribute to firm-wide initiatives for growth, client retention, and community impact.
  • Support business development activities and contribute to the firm’s evolving reputation in the marketplace.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience.
  • HOA and or Special District experience is preferred.
  • A valid and in-good-standing Colorado Bar license.
  • Strong interest in community law and willingness to learn new practice areas.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team of professionals and clients.
  • Proven track record of managing complex cases and providing client-focused legal solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present legal concepts clearly.
  • Interest in business development and contributing to the growth of the firm.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active Colorado Bar license.
  • Additional certifications or bar memberships are a plus.

Skills

  • Proficient in legal research, drafting legal documents, and litigation strategies.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
