A law firm seeks an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Associate Attorney to provide legal counsel on complex commercial lending transactions. This role involves structuring, negotiating, and drafting loan agreements for institutional lenders across a variety of financing transactions, including commercial and industrial lending, commercial real estate, and asset-based lending. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services law, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple legal matters efficiently.

Duties

• Advise institutional lenders on structuring, negotiating, and documenting commercial lending transactions.

• Oversee a variety of financing transactions, including commercial and industrial loans, commercial real estate financing, and asset-based lending.

• Provide strategic legal counsel on complex banking and financial services matters.

• Draft and review loan agreements, financial contracts, and related legal documentation.

• Collaborate with clients to develop solutions tailored to their financial services needs.

• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships through high-quality legal support and guidance.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in banking and financial services law, with a concentration in commercial lending transactions.

• Extensive experience in structuring, negotiating, and documenting financial transactions.

• Strong ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a dynamic legal environment.

• High attention to detail with strong strategic thinking capabilities.

• Excellent academic background.

• Active membership with the New York State Bar (Required).

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active admission to the New York State Bar (Required).
