Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Real Estate Attorney to join their team in Milwaukee, WI. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and development of commercial real estate assets. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, outside counsel, lenders, and investors to support complex real estate transactions and provide legal guidance.

Duties

• Lead and manage commercial real estate transactions from initial structuring through closing.
• Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, financing documents, and other real estate-related contracts.
• Conduct and oversee due diligence, including title and survey review, zoning analysis, environmental matters, and property condition assessments.
• Coordinate transaction closings with internal business teams, lenders, title companies, and outside counsel.

Requirements

• Seven to ten years of experience with commercial real estate matters.
• A portable book of business is preferred.
• Strong writing, oral communication, and analytical skills.
• Passion for client service and willingness to collaborate with a team.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Wisconsin.

Skills

• Ability to work with internal and external clients, attorneys, and staff.
• Highly motivated and detail-oriented.
