Job Title: Junior to Mid-Level Structured Finance Associate Attorney
Job Overview
A Wilmington, DE-based law firm, in collaboration with a national recruiting agency, is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Associate Attorney to contribute to its Structured Finance group. This hybrid role offers an opportunity to work on a wide range of financial transactions with a focus on derivative instruments and customized financial agreements. The ideal candidate will bring experience from sophisticated law firm environments and demonstrate a strong command of regulatory frameworks and complex transactional documentation.
Duties
Draft, review, and negotiate structured finance documentation, including ISDA Master Agreements, Schedules, Confirmations, and Credit Support Annexes
Advise on regulatory compliance, including ISDA protocols under frameworks such as Dodd-Frank
Support client relationships and interface with stakeholders on derivatives-related matters
Conduct legal research and deliver written analyses on complex financial instruments
Manage workflow and timelines for transactions under tight deadlines
Collaborate with other team members across practice areas and jurisdictions
Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and process improvement initiatives
Requirements
3 to 5 years of substantive experience in structured finance and derivatives
Demonstrated familiarity with over-the-counter derivatives, including associated documentation and regulatory protocols
Prior experience in a large or nationally recognized law firm handling financial products or transactions
Education
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications
Active license to practice law in Delaware
