Job Overview
A Wilmington, DE-based law firm, in collaboration with a national recruiting agency, is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Associate Attorney to contribute to its Structured Finance group. This hybrid role offers an opportunity to work on a wide range of financial transactions with a focus on derivative instruments and customized financial agreements. The ideal candidate will bring experience from sophisticated law firm environments and demonstrate a strong command of regulatory frameworks and complex transactional documentation.

Duties

• Draft, review, and negotiate structured finance documentation, including ISDA Master Agreements, Schedules, Confirmations, and Credit Support Annexes

• Advise on regulatory compliance, including ISDA protocols under frameworks such as Dodd-Frank

• Support client relationships and interface with stakeholders on derivatives-related matters

• Conduct legal research and deliver written analyses on complex financial instruments

• Manage workflow and timelines for transactions under tight deadlines

• Collaborate with other team members across practice areas and jurisdictions

• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and process improvement initiatives

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of substantive experience in structured finance and derivatives

• Demonstrated familiarity with over-the-counter derivatives, including associated documentation and regulatory protocols

• Prior experience in a large or nationally recognized law firm handling financial products or transactions

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in Delaware
