Job Title: Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview:
A Deerfield Beach-based law firm is seeking a dedicated Litigation Associate with courtroom and bench trial experience to join its legal team. This position focuses on plaintiff-side foreclosure litigation and involves managing a high-volume caseload, drafting litigation documents, and handling court proceedings throughout Florida. The role is ideal for candidates with a solid litigation background who are comfortable appearing in court and preparing cases for trial.

Duties:

• Manage an active caseload within a fast-paced litigation practice

• Draft legal documents, including motions, pleadings, memoranda, subpoenas, and proposed orders

• Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, and bench trials

• Prepare cases for trial and attend proceedings in person or virtually as needed

• Travel as necessary for hearings and other legal proceedings throughout the state

Requirements:

• Active license and good standing with the Florida Bar

• Proven litigation experience, particularly in bench trials

• Familiarity with foreclosure proceedings is preferred but not required

• Willingness to travel for court appearances and depositions

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from a law school accredited by the American Bar Association (ABA)

Certifications:

• Florida Bar admission required

Skills:

• Courtroom advocacy and legal drafting

• Ability to manage a high-volume docket

• Effective oral and written communication

• Strong analytical and research capabilities

• Self-sufficient and able to handle litigation independently

Job Location:

• Deerfield Beach, FL
