Job Overview:
A respected law firm is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Associate to join its Structured Finance practice. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in derivatives and structured finance, with particular strength in negotiating and drafting documentation under the ISDA Master Agreement framework. This position offers a hybrid work environment and is available in several key markets, providing flexibility while maintaining the collaborative benefits of an in-office setting.

Duties:
Draft and negotiate ISDA Master Agreements, Schedules, Credit Support Annexes, Confirmations, and related documentation
Advise on over-the-counter derivatives and compliance with ISDA Dodd-Frank regulatory protocols
Support clients in structuring, documenting, and managing complex structured finance transactions
Collaborate with attorneys and clients to address risk, market practices, and regulatory issues
Participate in client meetings, strategy sessions, and deal execution
Ensure timely and accurate delivery of work products under tight deadlines
Maintain compliance with firm policies, workflows, and quality standards
Requirements:
3–5 years of experience in derivatives and structured finance
Experience with over-the-counter derivatives and related ISDA documentation
Strong foundation in transactional work and regulatory compliance
Prior work experience at an AmLaw 100 or equivalent law firm is preferred
Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Licensed to practice in the state corresponding to the office location (NY, IL, CA, or TX)
In good standing with the relevant State Bar
Skills:

Strong oral and written communication skills
High attention to detail and organizational capability
Excellent business judgment and conceptual thinking
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with diverse teams
