The candidate will advise public agency clients on a wide array of matters, including public governance, municipal law, state and federal procurements, land use and zoning, ethics and open government, constitutional law, elections, and housing, among others. Will advise public agency staff and governing boards on a wide variety of legal matters, work in close relationship with assigned clients, make decisions, and be able to effectively work either cooperatively or independently. Must have 5-10 years of transactional practice ideally with public law, municipal law, or land use experience. The ability to draft transactional documents including contracts, ordinances, and resolutions is required.
