Duties:

• Manage all phases of construction defect litigation.
• Draft and respond to discovery requests and initial pleadings.
• Draft and argue motions related to construction defect cases.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Work independently while contributing to a team-oriented atmosphere.

Requirements:

• Active member of the California State Bar.
• Experience in construction defect litigation on the defense side.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Experience drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings.
• Experience in drafting and arguing motions.
• Comfortable taking and defending depositions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet billable hour requirements.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the California State Bar.

Skills:
