A law firm seeks an Associate to join its Intellectual Property (IP) Litigation Group in Omaha, NE. This role is ideal for an attorney with experience in commercial or IP litigation, eager to enhance their skills in complex litigation. The candidate will play a leading role in various cases, including commercial disputes, data breach class actions, and IP litigation, collaborating closely with partners and clients.

Duties

• Manage complex litigation matters in federal and state courts and arbitration forums.
• Handle client communications, motion practice, discovery, court appearances, mediations, and settlements.
• Take and defend fact and expert depositions.

Requirements

Education

• Admitted to practice in Nebraska with an active bar license or able to be admitted within one year.
• 1+ years of experience in civil litigation.
• Experience in general commercial litigation, IP litigation, or tort litigation preferred.
• Excellent academic credentials.
