Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Civil Litigation Attorney with a minimum of 7 years of general civil litigation experience in Boston, MA. The candidate must have a book of business no less than $300,000 and be available to work in-office Monday through Friday.

Duties

• Prepare discovery and respond to requests, including admissions, disclosures, and interrogatories.
• Attend and manage hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and court proceedings.
• Draft and prepare legal documents, ensuring compliance with court rules.
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues to develop case strategies and negotiate settlements.
• Analyze and research case law, statutes, and regulations impacting clients.
• Communicate clearly with regulatory agencies, courts, and counsel.
• Organize and manage documents in complex litigation.
• Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted and in good standing to practice law in Massachusetts.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Book of business of no less than $300,000.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education
