Duties

• Manage all phases of litigation from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, motions, trial preparation, and settlement negotiations.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategy and ensure compliance with current laws and regulations.
• Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and settlement agreements with precision and clarity.
• Represent clients in court proceedings across diverse practice areas.
• Negotiate favorable outcomes through effective advocacy and negotiation skills to achieve client objectives.
• Maintain meticulous case files and records of all legal proceedings and correspondence.
• Collaborate with legal assistants and administrative staff to ensure efficient case management and adherence to deadlines.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active bar admission in relevant jurisdictions.
• Proven experience practicing litigation across multiple areas.
• Strong research skills utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms for case law analysis and legal updates.
• Excellent writing skills demonstrated through clear legal drafting of pleadings and briefs.
• Familiarity with legal administrative processes within a law office environment.
• Ability to effectively negotiate settlements and advocate in court settings.
• Knowledge of legal procedures related to litigation in various practice areas.

Education
