Job Title: Corporate Associate Attorney

A respected law firm located in Ronkonkoma, NY, is seeking a skilled Corporate Associate Attorney to support its expanding transactional practice. This full-time, in-office opportunity offers exposure to complex corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, commercial leases, and other high-value business transactions. The role demands a proactive legal professional with strong drafting, negotiation, and client advisory skills, ideally developed over at least three years of relevant experience.

Duties:

• Draft and review a range of business agreements, including:

  • Asset and stock purchase agreements

  • Employment and consulting agreements

  • Supply and license agreements

  • Joint venture and partnership agreements

• Manage all phases of M&A transactions, including:

  • Legal due diligence

  • Structuring deals

  • Drafting and negotiating key documents

• Advise corporate clients on matters affecting day-to-day business operations and strategic transactions

• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely and effective deal execution

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in New York State

• 3-5 years of hands-on corporate legal experience

• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities

• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar

Skills:

• Advanced legal drafting and analytical skills

• Effective communicator with strong client-relations abilities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
