A prominent law firm based in Buffalo, NY, is looking for an experienced Commercial Litigation Attorney to join their dynamic legal team. This position offers the opportunity to handle complex litigation cases across various industries while working closely with clients and internal colleagues. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in managing their caseload, formulating legal strategies, and representing clients in high-stakes commercial disputes.

Duties:

• Manage all aspects of litigation, including case strategy development, drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, trial preparation, and appeals.
• Handle a diverse range of commercial disputes, such as business torts, contract issues, real estate disputes, and other business-related litigation.
• Create tailored litigation strategies that align with client needs and objectives.
• Perform legal research and prepare detailed, persuasive pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Maintain and build strong client relationships through proactive communication and insightful legal guidance.
• Collaborate with colleagues within the firm to ensure optimal client service and firm success.

Requirements:

• J.D. from an accredited law school with active bar admission in New York State.
• At least 5 years of experience in commercial litigation.
• Proven ability to independently manage a diverse caseload with minimal supervision.
• Exceptional analytical, written, and oral advocacy skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational capabilities, and the ability to meet deadlines consistently.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for growing a practice.
• High level of professionalism, ethics, and a commitment to delivering outstanding results.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
