Duties

• Defend clients in complex product liability litigation involving pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and consumer-facing products

• Manage all phases of litigation including:

  • Discovery

  • Depositions

  • Motion drafting

  • Hearings

  • Trial preparation and participation (where applicable)

• Conduct legal research and draft analytical memoranda and pleadings

• Collaborate with a litigation team on multi-party matters

• Maintain effective client communication and case strategy

Requirements

• 2–4 years of complex product liability litigation experience in a law firm setting

• Experience representing clients in both California state and federal courts

• Demonstrated experience with client defense in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or consumer product industries preferred

• Trial or trial preparation experience is a plus

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials

Certifications

• Active and good standing member of the California State Bar (required)
