Job Overview:
A distinguished law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is actively seeking a mid-level associate attorney with robust litigation experience, particularly in matters involving Daubert and Rule 702 motions. The role offers a dynamic blend of legal research, motion practice, and collaboration with clients, experts, and internal teams. Ideal candidates will demonstrate precision in legal writing, leadership capabilities, and a proactive approach to litigation strategy, especially in the context of pharmaceutical or medical device cases.

Duties:

• Draft and review discovery responses, legal memoranda, motions, and briefs

• Communicate with clients and manage expectations throughout the litigation process

• Collaborate with subject-matter experts and assist in expert witness preparation

• Conduct and defend depositions

• Supervise junior legal staff and coordinate workflow

• Assist in fact development and manage case files

• Contribute to case strategy and litigation planning

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, ideally in a large law firm setting

• Demonstrated experience with Daubert and Rule 702 motions

• Familiarity with product liability litigation, especially in the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors

• Licensed to practice law in California

• Strong command of federal procedural rules and evidence

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree

• Academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in the California Bar
