Duties & Responsibilities:

• Client Intake and First Meeting:
  • Establish rapport and trust with clients.
  • Gather comprehensive details regarding liability, damages, and coverage.
  • Develop action plans for clients and the legal team to prepare cases effectively.
• Investigation:
  • Supervise investigation processes to build strong cases for trial.
  • Assess insurance coverage and collect key evidence to support client claims.
• Negotiation:
  • Evaluate full settlement values and prepare cases for trial.
  • Foster relationships with adjusters while negotiating aggressively for optimal outcomes.
  • File lawsuits when necessary and manage litigation procedures.
• Litigation:
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents for lawsuits.
  • Strategize and oversee preparations for trial, mediation, or arbitration.
• General Responsibilities:
  • Review and sign correspondence from team members promptly.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to ensure smooth case progress.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated ability to lead cases from intake to resolution, with a focus on achieving full settlement value.
• Proven negotiation skills and the ability to manage client relationships with care and professionalism.
• Comfort with litigation processes, including preparing for trial, mediation, and arbitration.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high attention to detail.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active and good standing license to practice law in the state of Missouri.

Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to manage a high caseload and prioritize effectively.
