Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney with two to five years of financial services litigation experience to join its San Francisco, California office. The role offers a dynamic environment with opportunities for courtroom exposure and trial preparation, guided by experienced partners.

Duties

• Manage case files and engage in motion practice.
• Participate in courtroom proceedings and depositions.
• Prepare for trials and engage in alternative dispute resolution.
• Draft and analyze pleadings, including motions and discovery documents.
• Conduct e-discovery and develop case facts.
• Appear in state and federal courts for various pre-trial matters.

Requirements

• Active California law license.
• Experience in a regional, national, or reputable local law firm preferred.
• Strong writing and oral advocacy skills.
• Judicial clerkship experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with financial regulations such as FDCPA, FCRA, TCPA, UCC, EFTA, TILA, and UCL/UDAP.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the California State Bar.
