Duties

• Advocate for clients by understanding their needs and developing strategic plans.
• Collaborate with the managing attorney, legal assistants, and paralegals to progress cases.
• Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and depositions as required.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Michigan; Indiana licensure with willingness to waive into Michigan is acceptable.
• 1-4 years of litigation experience, preferably in family law.
• Strong courtroom skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Proficient in research, writing, and analytical tasks.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Michigan State Bar membership.
