Location:

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel on federal, state, and local tax matters.
• Draft and review legal documents, including tax opinions, memoranda, and briefs.
• Assist clients in navigating tax planning, compliance, and litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to tax laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to provide solutions for complex tax issues.
• Maintain and build client relationships while managing a diverse caseload.
• Participate in firm initiatives, including business development and client outreach.

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of experience in tax law.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate across departments.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Master of Laws (LLM) in Taxation or other relevant advanced degrees are preferred, but not required.
• Admission to the practice of law in Ohio.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of tax law, including planning, compliance, and litigation.
