A leading creditors' rights law firm is seeking a skilled Bankruptcy Attorney to join its Atlanta, GA office. This role is ideal for a motivated legal professional who will handle a caseload, attend hearings, support the bankruptcy operations team, and ensure all internal, client, and court deadlines are met. The ideal candidate will possess strong legal knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a dynamic portfolio of cases within the default servicing sector.

Attend and manage hearings, including coordination with Local Appearance Counsel
Provide real-time hearing results to internal teams and clients
Maintain and update internal and client-facing case management systems
Conduct Quality Control reviews of documents for legal compliance
Monitor and escalate actionable docket events
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal procedures, including judge- and district-specific rules
Answer legal questions related to individual loan files
Assist with staff training, provide drafting templates, and legal support
Identify areas for process improvement and risk mitigation
Communicate directly with clients, providing legal advice and training tools
Conduct legal research using firm tools and prepare related recommendations
Experience in bankruptcy law
Ability to manage a portfolio of cases with adherence to client SLAs and court deadlines
Familiarity with managing and attending legal hearings
Strong document review and legal writing skills
Demonstrated ability to communicate legal strategies and provide staff training
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Active license to practice law in the state of Georgia (or eligibility to obtain)
Strong legal research and writing capabilities
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Clear and professional communication with clients and internal teams
Technologically adept with legal software and document management systems
