Duties

• Represent employers in discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims.
• Handle FLSA and wage and hour claims, including class and collective actions.
• Conduct legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and memoranda.
• Take and defend depositions and manage discovery activities.
• Draft EEOC position statements and DFEH responses.
• Provide advice on federal and state employment law compliance.
• Engage in labor negotiations and handle grievances and arbitrations.

Requirements

• 7+ years of substantive experience in employment litigation.
• Strong knowledge of California employment law.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in the California State Bar.

Skills

• Strong work ethic and dedication to client service.
• Experience with trial or arbitration is desirable.
• Background in labor relations is advantageous.
