A law firm seeks an experienced Labor & Employment Attorney to join its esteemed practice in Morristown, NJ. This position is perfect for an attorney with a strong background in employment litigation and counseling, as well as traditional labor law, who is looking to further their career in a reputable environment.

Duties:

• Represent management in employment litigation and related disputes.
• Provide expert legal counsel on employment law matters, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Engage in collective bargaining and labor arbitration processes on behalf of clients.
• Handle cases before the National Labor Relations Board and the New Jersey Public Employment Relations Commission.
• Draft and review employment contracts, policies, and handbooks to protect client interests.
• Conduct training sessions for management on employment law and best practices.
• Stay updated on changes in labor and employment law to offer informed legal advice.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in employment litigation, counseling, and traditional labor law.
• Admission to the New Jersey Bar is required.
• Admission to the New York Bar is a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the New Jersey Bar Association; New York Bar membership is preferred.

Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective representation and client interaction.
• Exceptional analytical abilities to assess complex legal issues and develop strategic solutions.
• Proven experience in negotiating and mediating labor disputes.
