Duties

• Represent property owners and managers in court for eviction and other landlord-tenant disputes.
• Draft legal documents such as notices, letters, and other correspondence related to residential rental matters.
• Assist clients in resolving issues before they escalate to court proceedings.
• Provide legal counsel to property owners on fair housing regulations, security deposit litigation, and other related matters.
• Work closely with clients to ensure their needs are met and assist in developing strategies for resolving disputes.
• Maintain accurate case files and ensure all legal documentation is up-to-date.

Requirements

• No prior experience is required, making this an ideal position for a recent law school graduate or individuals transitioning into legal practice.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients, colleagues, and opposing counsel.
• Ability to manage a caseload effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and professionalism.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the State Bar of Arizona (or eligibility to sit for the bar exam).

Skills

• Knowledge of landlord-tenant law and residential rental issues is a plus, but not required.
