Job Overview:

A well-established law firm in Las Vegas is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join its insurance defense practice. This role involves handling a variety of general liability cases, including premises liability, automobile accidents, and intentional tort claims. Duties:

• Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters, including premises liability and automobile accident claims.
• Conduct legal research, draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Develop and execute effective litigation strategies to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Communicate with clients, insurance representatives, and opposing counsel.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff on case management and trial preparation.

Requirements:

• 3-7 years of experience in insurance defense or related litigation.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Proficiency in handling all phases of litigation, including discovery and trial preparation.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in the state of Nevada.

Certifications:

• Active and in good standing with the Nevada State Bar.

Skills:

• Strong litigation and trial advocacy skills.
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a legal team.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
