Duties

• Draft and respond to discovery requests

• Prepare and review motions and legal memoranda

• Conduct background investigations to support case development

• Organize and facilitate meetings with clients, attorneys, and expert witnesses

• Perform in-depth legal research to support litigation strategy

• Analyze and interpret medical records for case preparation

• Draft case analyses and status reports for clients

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in civil litigation defense

• Admitted to the Illinois Bar

• Missouri Bar admission preferred, but not required

• Demonstrated ability to manage a varied caseload independently

• Proven legal writing and oral advocacy skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

• Ability to work collaboratively within a team structure

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license in good standing with the Illinois Bar

• Missouri Bar admission is a plus
