A growing immigration law firm in San Jose, CA is seeking an Entry-Level Immigration Attorney to support its removal defense and family-based immigration practice. This role is ideal for a recent law school graduate or newly admitted attorney who is passionate about immigration law and eager to build courtroom and client management experience. The position offers direct mentorship from senior attorneys and an opportunity to grow within a collaborative legal team.

Represent clients in removal proceedings before Immigration Court and the Board of Immigration Appeals
Conduct legal intakes with both detained and non-detained individuals
Prepare and submit immigration filings, including:
Family-based petitions
Removal defense applications
Humanitarian relief requests
USCIS filings
Review and revise client application packets for completeness and accuracy
Develop case strategies and prepare clients and witnesses for court and USCIS interviews
Draft legal briefs and supporting documentation
Conduct legal consultations and explain immigration options and strategies
Liaise with community organizations, prosecutors, and law enforcement regarding immigration law developments
Demonstrated interest in immigration law through clinical experience, internships, or volunteer work
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Active bar admission in any U.S. state (candidates awaiting admission will be considered)
Ability to manage multiple cases with attention to detail and deadlines
Willingness to collaborate in a team-based environment
Spanish language proficiency preferred but not required
Experience with immigration case management software is a plus
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited institution
Admitted to practice law in any U.S. state
Bar admission pending applicants will also be considered
