A law firm seeks an experienced attorney in Jersey City, NJ, to manage PIP and No Surprises Act (NSA) arbitration cases. The candidate will work in a hybrid remote setting, focusing on healthcare reimbursement and arbitration matters.

Duties

• Review EOBs, medical records, billing, and relevant contracts/statutes for NSA claims.
• Evaluate case strength and recommend strategic approaches.
• Draft persuasive position statements for NSA arbitrations.
• Prepare and submit NSA arbitration filings promptly.
• Communicate effectively with providers, facilities, staff, and opposing parties.
• Track case progress and outcomes using internal systems.
• Stay informed on federal and New Jersey guidance and case law affecting NSA arbitrations.

Requirements

• Experience in PIP and NSA/out-of-network reimbursement disputes.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Comfortable reviewing medical billing and EOBs.
• Confident in drafting and negotiating with payers.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in New Jersey.

Skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in legal research and case management.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
