A prominent law firm located in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a Litigation Associate with 3-6 years of experience to join its dynamic litigation practice. The position offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of high-stakes disputes, including commercial litigation, white collar defense, regulatory investigations, IP, and healthcare litigation. The successful candidate will be integrated into a collaborative, cross-disciplinary team committed to delivering sophisticated legal solutions across multiple industries.

Duties:

• Handle all stages of litigation from inception through trial preparation

• Draft motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda

• Conduct legal research and factual investigations

• Manage discovery, including document review and production

• Take and defend depositions, conduct witness interviews

• Participate in trial preparation and court appearances

• Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas and offices

• Develop strategies responsive to client goals and regulatory context

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of litigation experience, ideally including trial, white collar defense, or regulatory investigations

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex caseloads and prioritize in a fast-paced setting

• Strong courtroom and deposition experience preferred

• Proactive and adaptable with sound judgment under pressure

• Excellent client service orientation and interpersonal skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in the California State Bar in good standing

Skills:

• Outstanding legal writing and analytical capabilities

• Clear and persuasive oral communication skills

• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team

• Exceptional organizational and project management skills
