Duties:
Handle complex family law litigation matters from intake through trial or resolution
Develop case strategy, oversee discovery, and manage court filings
Collaborate with in-house discovery attorneys and forensic CPAs
Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior attorneys as needed
Maintain high standards of legal writing, advocacy, and client service
Contribute to case evaluations, billing, and firmwide best practices
Participate in ongoing legal education and firm-sponsored training initiatives
Requirements:
Minimum of several years of experience practicing family law
Strong background in litigation and client management
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a team-based setting
Passion for advocacy and high-quality legal service
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school
Certifications:
Active California State Bar license in good standing
Certified Family Law Specialist (CFLS) preferred but not required
Skills:
Advanced litigation and courtroom skills
Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical abilities
