A law firm seeks an experienced Associate Attorney to join their team remotely. The ideal candidate will have a strong record of professional excellence, attention to detail, and a passion for helping clients navigate the legal process.

Duties

• Manage family-based immigration cases.
• Prepare, review, and file immigration petitions and applications.
• Draft legal documents, affidavits, and supporting evidence.
• Communicate with clients regarding case progress and legal strategy.
• Correspond with government agencies, including USCIS and consulates.
• Maintain accurate and timely case notes and documentation.
• Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure timely filings.
• Stay current on changes in immigration laws, regulations, and procedures.

Requirements

• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (or eligibility for admission).
• 2+ years of experience practicing immigration law, with a strong focus on family-based immigration.
• Experience working directly with clients and managing cases independently.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with USCIS procedures and immigration forms.
• Bilingual Spanish-English.
• Knowledge in employment-based immigration is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Active law license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
