Duties:

• Handle business litigation cases from start to finish, including legal research, drafting pleadings, and motion practice.

• Assist with managing discovery processes and preparing discovery responses.

• Take and defend depositions.

• Represent clients in court appearances, hearings, and mediations.

• Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and client communications.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients while ensuring high-quality legal service.

Requirements:

• 1 to 3 years of experience in business litigation.

• Experience in managing litigation cases and understanding the legal processes.

• Ability to conduct legal research and write compelling pleadings and motions.

• Experience in taking depositions and managing discovery is preferred.

• Strong communication and client relationship skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the South Carolina Bar, or ability to obtain membership.

Skills:

• Proficiency in legal research, writing, and case management.

• Strong drafting skills for motions, pleadings, and discovery documents.

• Excellent communication and advocacy skills.

• Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously with attention to detail.
