Duties:

• Evaluate new cases to determine action plans, budgets, and strategies.
• Identify pleading requirements and delegate appropriate tasks to paralegals and legal assistants.
• Prepare and manage discovery responses and document production.
• Attend depositions, hearings, and other legal events, providing detailed reports.
• Engage in settlement negotiations, secure client approval, and prepare for trial when necessary.
• Communicate regularly with legal staff to ensure smooth case progression.

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of litigation or insurance defense experience preferred.
• Licensed to practice law in South Carolina.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective client and team communication.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Capable of thriving in a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new systems.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Must be licensed to practice law in South Carolina (Bar Certification required).
