Senior Trust and Estate Litigation Attorney

Profile

A law firm seeks a Senior Trust and Estate Litigation Attorney to manage complex probate, trust and conservatorship disputes in a hybrid or fully remote setting. This role serves as the primary client contact throughout litigation, from pre-filing strategy through trial.

Duties

• Research and analyze legal issues in trust, estate, conservatorship and guardianship litigation.

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, memoranda and other court filings.

• Conduct depositions, attend mediations, hearings and settlement negotiations.

• Advise clients on pre-litigation strategy, trust administration and fiduciary duties.

• Oversee conservatorship/guardianship and probate administration from initiation through discharge.

Requirements

• 5+ years of probate and trust litigation experience, or 8–10 years of civil or family litigation with strong references.

• Demonstrated ability to manage cases independently and make strategic decisions.

• Proven skill in client counseling and courtroom advocacy.

• Strong organizational aptitude with capacity to juggle multiple matters concurrently.

Education

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in good standing with a state bar.
