Job Overview:
A reputable law firm is seeking a Trusts and Estates Administration Attorney to join its growing team. This role is designed for attorneys with a strong foundation or interest in probate, trust administration, and related non-litigation matters. The successful candidate will handle a range of transactional and administrative responsibilities under the guidance of senior attorneys. This position offers a blend of hands-on legal work, professional development opportunities, and training support within a structured advancement framework.

Duties:
Conduct legal research related to trust and estate administration matters
Draft pleadings, legal memoranda, court orders, and other legal documents
Handle probate administrations from initial filings to final discharge of the personal representative
Manage trust administration cases from start to termination of trust
Oversee uncontested conservatorship and guardianship cases from initiation through ongoing representation
Prepare and manage transactional and uncontested matters, including spousal property petitions and judicially facilitated property transfers
Advise and consult with trustees and personal representatives regarding their fiduciary duties and legal obligations
Attend probate court hearings as needed
Participate in other legal projects as assigned by supervising attorneys
Requirements:
1–3 years of relevant experience in probate, trusts, or estate planning
Demonstrated interest in probate and estate law
Ability to manage cases and client relationships independently
Proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to learn new technologies and internal processes
Ability to adapt quickly to a structured legal environment
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school
Strong academic record preferred; law review experience is a plus
Certifications:
Active membership in the California State Bar (required)
