Duties

• Manage all aspects of workers' compensation cases from intake to resolution.
• Represent clients in Workers' Compensation Appeals Board proceedings.
• Handle daily case administration and manage deadlines.
• Maintain communication with clients, opposing counsel, and legal staff.
• Develop strategic case plans tailored to client circumstances.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and settlement conferences.
• Negotiate settlements in clients' best interests.
• Draft clear, well-reasoned legal documents.
• Stay updated on California workers' compensation laws and procedures.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active member in good standing with the State Bar of California.
• Minimum of three years of workers' compensation litigation experience.
• Strong knowledge of WCAB rules and California labor codes.
• Deposition and court experience required.
• Ability to manage a full caseload independently.

Education
