Job Overview

A law firm seeks a full-time Remote Associate Attorney based in Maryland. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated junior to mid-level attorney to gain experience and grow professionally in a supportive environment. The role involves travel to courts throughout Maryland, primarily in Baltimore, Montgomery, and Prince George counties.

Duties

• Handle all aspects of litigation from initial case evaluation through resolution.
• Manage a large volume of files autonomously and meet deadlines.
• Create litigation plans and conduct discovery.
• Maintain exceptional client interaction and manage account updates in collections software.
• Ensure compliance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

Requirements

• Licensed and in good standing to practice law in the State of Maryland.
• Ability to travel to courts throughout Maryland.
• Experience in creditors' rights or motor vehicle torts preferred.
• Trial experience with a strong courtroom presence preferred.
• Post-judgment collection experience preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor Degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Valid Bar license in the State of Maryland.
